I heard this quote on “The Perks of being a wallflower” trailer and I fell in love with it. This quote is sooo true. I know people who deserve more love than they get, but I cant change their views, so they accept shitty ass love from shitty ass significant others. So this leads me to wonder “Do I feel I don’t deserve love? Or is it that the chances I’ve had at love weren’t good enough for me?” To tell the truth I really don’t know…

The best part about them is that they both take place at hbcus, but they did so much more for people. Not only did they cover issues that were relevant in the black community, but also all around the world. The best thing about both of these artifacts is that showed the outside world that it is possible to get a great education at an hbcu and that we are more than what others think we are. I can honestly say that besides the fact that my parents went to an hbcu, these two helped my decision to go to one.
